National Student Council. Since 1931, the goal of the National Student Council (NatStuCo) has been to help all student councils become more effective organizations. NatStuCo represents middle-level and high- school councils nationwide. It seeks to provide a valuable leadership partnership between students and their schools. It creates an opportunity for students to become effective leaders, thus encouraging and influencing a positive school climate.
Maryland Association of Student Councils. The Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC) is an organization of public and private secondary school student councils in the state of Maryland. Students are not only the leaders of the future but the leaders of today and defend as well as promote the interests, rights, and well-being of all students in the state of Maryland.
Maryland General Assembly. The General Assembly is Maryland’s legislative body and directly represents the electorate. The state has 47 districts represented by 47 Senators and 141 Delegates.
Commissioners of St. Mary's County. The legislative and executive functions of St. Mary's County Government are administered by the Commissioners of St. Mary's County (CSMC). The CSMC consist of five members who are elected to four-year terms, including a president and four district commissioners. All five members are elected at large by voters across St. Mary's County, though district commissioners must reside in the district they represent.

Maryland Civic Education Coalition. The Maryland Civic Education Coalition is a cross-partisan organization committed to building an inclusive coalition that brings together students, educators, experts, scholars, and community members who are committed to ensuring that all Maryland students have access to meaningful, hands-on, comprehensive civic education and service-learning opportunities.
League of Women Voters of Maryland. The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
